This year's headliners

Sally Ironmonger & Brian Carter (Saturday) have been writing, performing and bickering together for nearly 20 years. They have produced 4 studio albums of songs about shipyards, prostitutes, trips to the seaside, self-deprecating amusing songs and protest anthems.

They are an absolute one off. They have a quirky and distinctive style, with Brian’s unusual and accomplished guitar technique the perfect accompaniment to Sally’s unique voice. They love what they do, and their aim is to entertain, with songs that make you laugh, or cry, or just think.

Mike Silver (Sunday) Mike Silver’s songs are of longing, love and loss, perceptive and thoughtful, with haunting melodies and heart stopping lyrics. This most accomplished acoustic artist sings and records a series of thoughts and feelings that are special and magical. Yet his music addresses every day issues without being trite, reaching out to a wide audience. With a voice that is as warm and inviting as the fire in the fireplace on a cold winter’s night, Mike is an outstanding treasure amidst the crowd. Recommended to all who thrive on the sensitivity of our existence; all in all he’s a wonderful musician.
Jim McClean (Sunday) Born and raised in Scotland and now based in London, Jim’s roots are buried deep in the fertile soil of British and American traditional music. He has played across the UK, Europe and USA at clubs, festivals and shows. Although primarily a singer/songwriter he enjoys playing anything from Celtic instrumentals through Folk, Americana, Blues and Country.

“I love the challenge of continuing the folk tradition, including reinterpreting songs to keep them current whilst staying faithful to the original.”
